Rated M for mature subject matter. (Drug Reference and Suicide)
Taken from the Victims and Villains podcast by Josh Burkey
Welcome to another adventure within the multiverse! While the toys and Chucky are tearing up screens this weekend, we’re embarking on a trip that’s bigger than us. During our adventure to 3 Rivers Comic Con, we met a gentleman by the name of Michael Easton. Michael is a part of the creative team behind So Pro Comics! He’s also a father, husband and son who has unfortunately had some terrible run-ins with addiction and suicide. Having lost his brother to a drug overdose in 2003, his father’s suicide followed a decade later. Suicide came once again for a friend of his son’s. This is his story of tragedy and triumph.
If you or someone you know is struggling with suicide, addiction, self-harm or depression – please free feel to reach out. Use any our resources, call the suicide lifeline (1-800-273-8255) or text 741-741.
